Indonesia's account deficit expected to be below 3 percent of GDP


(MENAFN) The Indonesian central bank is expecting the country's current account deficit to run below 3 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP) in 2014



The governor of the central bank said that the current account deficit in the last quarter of 2013 is estimated to fall below 3 percent of the GDP, down from 3.8 percent in the quarter before it



The governor said: "Should this condition be kept persistently, our rupiah will ramp up against the dollar. Therefore structural reforms have to be sustained.
