Spain's manufacturing sector grows slightly in December

(MENAFN) Spain's manufacturing sector saw a slight growth in December, giving a sign of recovery after it fell in November, according to Yahoo Finance. Manufacturing activity has boosted in the last four months showing a rebound in Markit's Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) figures. Andrew Harker, a senior economist at Markit, said: "The return to growth of the Spanish manufacturing sector at the end of 2013 was a positive sign, largely as it allayed fears that the decline seen in November heralded the start of a new downturn."
