South China nuclear plant operational
(MENAFN) Generation by the Yangjiang nuclear power plant's first unit in south China's Guangdong Province began trial operations, Xinhua reported.
The Yangjiang Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. said that the unit has been connected to the country's power grid.
The plant, which is estimated USD12.1 billion, is set to commence operation in a few months time.
