Hyundai Motor's Sales in China Hit 1 Million in 2013

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Hyundai Motor Co., South Korea's top carmaker, said Wednesday that it sold an estimated total of 1.03 million vehicles in China this year, up 20.3 % from last year. It was the first time that Hyundai's annual sales surpassed 1 million vehicles since entering the Chinese market in 2003, the company said in a statement The estimated sales figure is slightly above Hyundai's 2013 sales target of 970,000 vehicles in China, according to (Yonhap) news agency Hyundai said it would expand its dealership network in China to 1,000 by 2015.
