Slovenia recapitalizes banking systems at USD6.4 b


(MENAFN) Slovenia plans to recapitalize the banking system as it allocated USD6.4 billion for the project, according to Iran Daily. The country's parliament passed a bill to allow the government finance the plan with the backing of 47 MPs in the 90-seat parliament. Mateja Vranicar, state secretary at the Finance Ministry, said: ."Immediately after the results are published, we urgently need to provide possible investors a clear information about the capital needs of banks and, at the same time, about the measures taken by the government."
