Mubadala plans US acquisitions to expand manufacturing

(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi-based Mubadala plans to acquire in the US through its aerospace unit in order to increase its manufacturing capabilities following several signed contracts at the Dubai Airshow, Arabian Business reported. Industrial orders from Mubadala at the Dubai Airshow to sell parts to Boeing and Airbus hit a total of USD5 billion. Executive director of Mubadala Aerospace said: "We have said before that we would put up to $500m into building facilities and capabilities. Now, I think that number will have to go up."
