US crude oil futures up 1 percent


(MENAFN) The US futures of crude oil gained more than 1 percent as the US Congress is expected to agree on the deal of rising the government"s debt ceiling and prevent a default, according to Arab New. Brent contract was up 81 cents by the following November, reaching USD110.77 a barrel by 1522 GMT. Brent fell USD1.14 in the previous session. While in December Brent boosted USD1.09 per barrel to USD110.51. The US benchmark rose USD1.09 to USD102.30. It fell USD1.20 onn Tuesday.
