Kuwait- Securitymen Arrest Syrian With 72 Bottles Of Liquor


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Special Forces affiliated to Ahmadi Security Command have arrested a Syrian for the possession and trading in of 72 bottles of locally brewed alcohol inside a grocery shop in Mangaf, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. Operations Department Director Lieutenant Colonel Faleh Al-Huthaeli received information on the illegal activities of the suspect. He then forwarded the information to Ahmadi Security Chief Major General Ayedh Abdullah who formed a team tasked to put the suspect under surveillance. First Lieutenant Ghasab Al-Ghasab led the team that sent an undercover agent to buy local alcohol from the suspect who was arrested in the entrapment. The suspect is now in the custody of the relevant security department where the necessary legal steps are being taken to hold him liable for engaging in a criminal act.
