Samsung dominates Europe markets


(MENAFN) Samsung pioneered most smartphones sales in Europe where it took credit for half mobile phones purchases in a period of 3 months, the financial times reported. Android operated phones could attract almost three quarters of total sales in the largest 5 European markets while Apple ranked second followed by windows phones. Paul Moore, global director at Kantar Worldpanel ComTech, said: "Across Europe, Android growth remains strong. However, in the US Apple's expanded distribution agreement with T-Mobile is helping the iPhone keep Android growth at bay. It's worth noting that Samsung could lead sales in most major world markets after launching its latest product Galaxy S4 that is considered to be most sold smartphone by the Korean company in a short period of time.
