Online job postings went down 14% on May

(MENAFN) Monster Worldwide, online job portal, said that the number of online job postings went down 14 percent last month compared to the same period a year ago, reported Xinhua News. Monster Employment Index Middle East decreased 29 points in May compared to the same month in 2012 thus hitting 118 points. However, the index went up 10 points in May compared to April. It is worth noting that the Index does not reflect the trend of a particular advertiser or source, but is an aggregate measure of the change in job listings across the industry.
