(MENAFN) Korean Unification Ministry spokesman Kim Hyung Suk stated stated that North Korea cancelled the high-level talksover reopening a joint factory park, leaving economic projects in high risk, reported Bloomberg. The spokesman also said that the reason behind the calling off of the talks is the rank of the proposed delegate of South Korea. Suk added that the discussion were supposed to be on the reopening of the jointly-run Gaeseong industrial zone and a luxury resort aimed at attracting South Korean tourists to the North.
