Indian maid and 2 yr old Kuwaiti child drown in Khairan chalet pool
(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Aug 19: Security and medical authorities were alerted after a report was received about a two-year-old Kuwaiti child and a 25-year-old Indian maid drowned in a chalet in Khairan, reports Al- Qabas daily.
Security sources told the daily police and paramedics rushed to the scene and tried to rescue the maid and the child, and were rushed to the Adan Hospital by air ambulance, but were declared dead on arrival.
According to the security sources, investigations revealed the parents of the child left the toddler with the maid in the chalet, and both drowned in a swimming pool.
