UAE- National Archives joins Saudi Embassy in 88th National Day celebrations

ABU DHABI, 24th September, 2018 (WAM) -- The National Archives has joined the Saudi Embassy in celebrating the 88th Saudi National Day, by exhibiting a documentary showcasing several historic photos and documents that highlight the strong ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The National Archive's participation in the Saudi National Day is part of the strategic partnership and solidarity between the two countries.

The photos showcased in the exhibition also documented the many meetings between the late sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, with the kings and princes of Saudi Arabia, to strengthen their overall cooperation.

The exhibition, which was attended by Saud bin Fahad Al Suwailam, Saudi Charge d'Affaires in the UAE, attracted many visitors and participants.

Al Suwailam praised the NA's participation in the exhibition while stressing that the exhibited photos express the deep historical ties between the two countries, which are witnessing significant overall development.

He added that the relations between the two countries are a model of brotherhood, compassion, friendship, solidarity and economic and cultural integration, due to the directives of their wise leadership.
