Israel throw flare bomb over Lebanese territorial waters

(MENAFN) "An Israeli enemy gunboat threw a flare bomb over the Lebanese territorial waters, off Ras el-Naqoura, at 20:45 hours on Friday," Lebanese Army communique indicated on Sunday as reported by NNA.

"The breach is being pursued in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in South Lebanon (UNIFIL)," the communique added.

Meanwhile, Loyalty to the Resistance Parliamentary Bloc Member, MP Ali Fayyad, on Saturday said that "the Resistance is still a firm, essential, vital and strategic need at all levels to guarantee a strong, independent, capable and brilliant nation, preserving its national dignity and protecting its present and future."

"It is not possible to protect the equation of deterrence and balance with the Israeli enemy without this Resistance. This small nation cannot delineate its land and sea borders and protect all its national rights and resources in oil, gas and water without relying on the Resistance," he underlined.

Fayyad's words came during an educational ceremony held in the Southern town of Kfarsir, in the presence of cultural and educational dignitaries and parents of graduates.
