Egypt: train derails leaving 55 hurt


(MENAFN) Official MENA news agency declared that over 55 people have been wounded after an Egyptian train went off track close to Egypt's Giza, south of the capital Cairo.

The train was heading from Cairo to the southern province of Qena.

The Egyptian National Railways confirmed that three carriages have derailed and capsized.

25 ambulances were dispatched to the spot for rescue missions, according to the Egyptian Health Ministry.
