Arab businesswomen body praises Lebanon's LLWB
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, July 11 (KUBA) -- Chairperson of Council of Arab Businesswomen Sheikha Hessa Saad Al-Abdullah praised on Wednesday the efforts of the Lebanese League for Women in Business (LLWB) in supporting women.
Al-Abdullah made the remark during her sponsorship of the ceremony organized by (LLWB), in which two awards were given to Director of the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) Laure Sleiman and General Director of the Ministry of Economy and Trade Alia Abbas.
"(LLWB) works under the umbrella of the Council of Arab Businesswomen headed by Sheikha Hessa Al-Abdullah and the International Federation of Business and Professional women (BPW)," said LLWB Chairperson Carmen Zaghib in a statement for KUNA.
"The LLWB sheds the light on various events which it organizes to indorse the projects done by business women in different fields and to support their small businesses as well," Zaghib continued.
"We thank Sheikha Hessa Al-Abdullah for supporting Lebanese women and businesswomen and for the huge impact she made as an ambassador of BPW in the Middle East which led to establishing the first Businesswomen Club in 2014 and transforming it to a federation in 2017," Zaghib added. (end) wsm.amm.bb
