Council of Saudi Chambers Reviews Algeria's Investment Opportunities

Riyadh, Shawwal 25, 1439, July 09, 2018, SPA -- The Council of Saudi Chambers, in cooperation with Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) and National Agency for Investment Development in Algeria, organized a meeting on "Investment Opportunities in Economic Sectors in Algeria".
The gathering was attended by Deputy Governor for Development of the Investment Environment of SAGIA Dr. Ayed Al-Otaibi, GM of the National Agency for Investment Development in Algeria Abdulkarim Mansouri, and representatives of institutions and government bodies, companies and businessmen from both sides.
The meeting lauded the firmness of the Saudi Algerian economic ties, citing that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries amounted to SR 2.19 billion in 2016, and The Kingdom's exports to Algeria represent SR 2.1 billion while its imports from Algeria is about SR 36 million.
They confirmed that the meeting aims to benefit from the opportunities available for investment and competitive advantages, as well as exchange views and proposals on ways to develop trade and investment between the two countries.
