IS executes 7 civilians in Iraq
(MENAFN) On Saturday, at least seven Iraqi civilians were executed by the Islamic State (IS) in the province of Diyala, a source said.
The execution came after the IS jihadists had set up a fake checkpoint and abducted the victims on the road between Baquba and Buhriz, Diyala Police Chief Habib al-Shammari was quoted by Anadolu Agency.
"Security forces later found their bodies; they appear to have been killed execution-style," the security official said.
