Oman Oil Company, Shell Development Oman to groom local industry experts

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Oman Oil Company (OOC), the sultanate's investment arm in the energy and energy related sectors, and Shell Development Oman signed a collaboration agreement to offer secondment opportunities. Signed by eng Isam bin Saud al Zadjali OOC's CEO and Chris Breeze, Shell country chairman in Oman, the agreement allows employees of OOC group of companies and Shell Development Oman to be cross-trained at each other's businesses. The partnership fosters staff development, elevates skillsets and promotes team productivity to ultimately bolster the sultanate's specialised and skilled workforce.

Eng Zadjali said, 'OOC aims to join forces with industry leaders to enable further development of employees through knowledge transfer. This partnership will facilitate exchange knowledge, know-how and experience from industry experts. Such experience creates a strong and skilled workforce, as well as builds a strong professional network. We aim to further build such partnerships to ensure the Oil and Gas industry is interacting and engaging with the latest technologies and specialized talents.'
