Egyptian footballer Aboutrika apologizes for taking pic with Israeli
(MENAFN) Egyptian football star Mohamed Aboutrika has blasted an Israeli man for taking a photograph with him without identifying himself.
Aboutrika said on his official Twitter account yesterday: "I did not know and I apologize for the photograph. We will never recognize the Zionist entity of killers and occupation. The Palestinian cause is the main cause of the Arab and Islamic people."
Israeli journalist Roi Kais published on his Twitter account a photograph of Aboutrika with an Israeli fan in Moscow with the caption: "With the Egyptian football legend Mohamed Aboutrika".
The Egyptian footballer was quick to respond and explain.
