Oman- Bank Sohar's credit cards packed with more surprises

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- In line with its consumer-centricity strategy in the 'Year of You', Bank Sohar has launched an exciting new summer promotion to reward customers for using their Excel Platinum, Signature and Infinite credit cards during the summer season. Launched on July 1, the promotion will run for two months till August 31, promising a total of 20 winners of 10,000 Mukafa'at al Mumayaz points each.

All transactions with a minimum value of RO20 on airlines, hotels, holiday packages and car rentals, as well as any and all international transactions will earn the card holder a chance to win in the monthly draws. For every transaction of a minimum value of RO20 spent, customers will be entitled for once chance, hence more transactions will result in higher chances of winning. The transactions made during this period will also be entitled for the standard Bank Sohar features and benefits such as selecting to pay their credit purchases in interest-free instalments for 3, 6 or 12 months, adding even more convenience to the experience with Bank Sohar Excel cards.

The Summer Promotion will result in a total of 20 winners with a cumulative Mukafa'at al Mumayaz Points distribution of 200,000 points. Any and all transactions of a minimum value of RO20 related to airlines, hotels, holiday packages and car rentals, as well as any and all international transactions with a minimum value of RO20 will enter into the draw. It is important to note that such transactions of RO20 as a minimum via Point of Sale (POS) and or over the Internet will enter the draws which will be conducted soon after the end of each of the two months.

The Mukafaat al Mumayaz Loyalty Programme was launched in 2015 to provide added value to its customers' banking experience by rewarding them with Mukafa'at points for every Omani Rial spent with their credit cards. With flexible online redemption process giving one per cent cash back on accumulated points credited to the customer's account, the scheme has delivered great value to its customers since its inception. New customers of Excel Platinum Credit Card, Excel Signature and Excel Diamond Infinite Credit Card holders further receive 2,000, 3,000 and 5,000 free loyalty points, respectively.
