Israel kills 131 Palestinians in 3 months Gaza Health Ministry
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Gaza, June 30 (Petra) -- Israeli occupation forces killed 131 Palestinians and wounded another 14,811 since the start of the "Great March of Return" rallies on March 30, a Palestinian health official said Saturday.
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said in a statement that among the fatalities were 15 children under the age of 18 and one woman, and that the injured included 2,525 children and 1,158 women.
The statement also said that the Israeli army had directly targeted medical crews and journalists, leading to the death of two medics, a male and a female, and the injury of 229 others with live bullets, adding that 39 ambulances were damaged. Two journalists were also killed and 170 others were wounded by live fire and suffocation from tear gas, it added.
