Bahrain PM congratulates Kuwait's Def. Min. on successful surgery
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MANAMA, June 26 (KUNA) -- Bahrain Prime Minister Prince Khalifa Al-Khalifa congratulated Kuwait's First Deputy Premier and Defense Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah for undergoing a successful surgery.
Prince Khalifa sent a cable to Sheikh Nasser to congratulate him on the successful lung surgery, official BNA news agency reported.
He wished Sheikh Nasser would recover and enjoy lasting well-being, it added.
Kuwait Ministry of Defense confirmed earlier Sheikh Nasser has undergone a successful surgery abroad to remove a lung tumor.
The minister has yet to stay in hospital for a few days, followed by a period of convalescence before returning to the country, the ministry said in a press statement. (end) hmd.bs
