Arab League chief, Iraqi VP discuss Iraq reconstruction
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Cairo June 26 (Petra) - Arab League Secretary-General, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, on Tuesday met with Iraqi Vice President, Iyad Allawi, to discuss the developments in Iraq after the parliamentary elections.
during their meeting at Arab League headquarters in Cairo, Allawi and Aboul Gheit explored ways to support Iraq in the reconstruction of the areas which are no longer under the contol of Daesh terror group.
Allawi also met Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, the Prime minister, the Sheikh of al-Azhar, and a number of Egyptian officials to discuss prospects for joint cooperation.
