Yemeni army seizes control over Sa'dah

(MENAFN) On Monday, the Yemeni army announced that it has seized seven experts affiliated with Lebanese Hezbollah during a military operation in Sa'dah province, the Houthis' stronghold in north Yemen.

The Yemeni army's website, September Net, quoted the commander of third brigade Al-Oruba, General Abdul Karim Al-Sudai saying: "The army forces carried out a qualitative operation. They managed to capture a Houthi leader along with seven military experts from Hezbollah, during fierce battles in Al-Malahit front, within the framework of the "Cutting the Head of the Snake" operation."

"The week-long battles in Al-Ruwaq mountain and surrounding areas in Al-Malahit front took the life of about 220 Houthis," he said.

He pointed out that the army was forced to bury the bodies of the dead Houthis after the remaining members escaped.
