Oman- Municipality acts on complaints about littering near Sahwa Park

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Muscat Municipality has dealt with complaints about expat workers littering near Sahwa Park. In a tweet, the civic body stated that action has been taken against them.

The tweet stated, 'In reference to reports on social media about the dumping of waste near Sahwa Park by some expatriate workers, we are letting you know that Muscat Municipality has acted against the complaints.'

Municipality has said that it is implementing three proposals to prevent such incidents. 'One is to prevent expatriates from selling anything inside the park. The second is to create awareness about littering through a person who is fluent in the native language of workers cleaning the site. The third is by adding more trash bins near the site.'
