Weather alert: Strong winds, waves up to 8ft to hit UAE
The NCM added that there will be light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times by afternoon, which may cause blowing dust over some exposed areas.

The highest temperature recorded over the country on Saturday was 48.4 C in Mezaira at 1:00pm, while the lowest temperature today morning was 25.6 C in Jais Mountain at 5:45am.

The outlook for the next days is more of the same, hot in general during the day time, partly cloudy and hazy at times. There will be slight fall in temperature over the weekend. Light to moderate winds freshening at times over some northern areas, causing blowing dust and poor horizontal visibility over exposed areas.
