Qatar- Ministry of Education recognizes ITEX winners

Doha:The Ministry of Education and Higher Education recognized Sunday the winners of the ITEX which held in Malaysia last May.

Those recognized today won five gold medals, one silver medal and a prestigious position on their innovative projects, were honored today among 1,000 participating projects. Undersecretary of the Ministry Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi said that the country's wise leadership provided all the necessary support to make the educational system a success. He added that the results of the students in the competition was a result of the academic environment in Qatar that encourages innovation.

Al Nuaimi then called on school administrations and principals to put the quality of education on their top list of priorities. He also called on them to encourage their students to share experiences with their peers at the international level. He also noted that each school has a share of the list of outstanding students in regional and international competitions. He said that such events help add to the experiences of students in schools, and creates a good learning environment that is conducive to concrete qualitative results.

He also reiterated the commitment of the Ministry of Education to continue to create an academic environment conducive to the innovation and creativity of our students and to build and develop their winning projects, stressing that the winning students represent promising inventors and entrepreneurs, representing the leaders and scientists of the foreseeable future.
