Morocco's Sound Energy awards Feed contract for gas plant


(MENAFN) Morocco's Sound Energy has presented a consortium with a front end engineering and design (Feed) contract for a gas processing plant and a 20 inch gas pipeline facility in Morocco.

The consortium awarded with the contract was said to be consisting of leading Spanish groups Enagas, Elecnor and Fomento.

The consortium, under the contract, is committed to conditional construction and financing of all infrastructure required.

Sound Energy's CEO James Parsons stated "this is a hugely important milestone for our company and I am delighted that Sound Energy is playing such a pivotal role in unlocking the first significant scale indigenous gas production in Morocco."
