Auto production in Turkey down 2 percent


(MENAFN) The Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) has shown Turkey to have recorded a 2 percent decline in automotive production from January to May.

The OSD monthly report showed Turkey's automakers to have created 711,99 vehicles during the first five months of this year.

The report also found automobile production to have reported a 7 percent decrease, standing at 471,634.

The Turkish market for auto sales was also said to have narrowed 4 percent annually, reaching 311,566 between January and May.
