Oman- MEC hosts British School Muscat students

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Middle East College (MEC) hosted a group of four students from the British School Muscat (BSM) as part of their three-day training programme designed to develop their personal and social skills.

The programme gave the students the opportunity to explore various operations in a higher educational institution where they gained valuable experience through hands-on training in the systems and processes at various academic support and professional services departments in the college.

The Student Success Centre (SSC) at MEC, which is equipped to bolster MEC students towards success, introduced the visiting students to various activities, such as analysing different scenarios related to student problems and identifying the best solutions to tackle the same. The students were engaged in a training session named 'Know Your Mind', which introduced them to strategies for enhancing their positive thinking, which is a key ingredient for success.

Pooja Krishnan, head, SSC, said, 'MEC hosted BSM students to provide them an opportunity to familiarise with the different administrative departments of the institution and give them a flavour of the working environment at MEC. The students were enthusiastic about the hands-on experience of the processes.'
