Kuwait provides Yemen's Socotra with solar street lights
(MENAFN) Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) was reportedly declared to be launching solar street lights in Daba Karajah village in Yemen's Socotra Island.
The statement has been made by head of KRCS mission in Yemen Abdulrahman Al-Aoun while speaking to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
It comes in support of the village which experiences a shortage of street lights as a result of the destructive Cyclone Mekunu.
Al-Aoun said that KRCS is now pushing its relief and development efforts in collaboration with local Yemeni authorities in Socotra.
