Turkey prepared for retaliatory tariffs on US products: FM


(MENAFN) Turkey is prepared to hit the US with tariffs on its products in retaliation to its steel and aluminum tariffs, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced.

Turkey is ready to take countermeasures on US imports starting June 21, as reported local Hurriyet Daily News.

The country was said to be imposing a total of USD226.5 million extra duties on 22 items, including coal, paper, walnuts, almonds, tobacco, and whiskey products.
