Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani chaired the second meeting of the Board of Directors of Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) for 2018, held yesterday at Al Bahr Palace.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Amir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani and H H Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of the Amir and Vice-Chairman of the board.
Board member, Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani also attended the meeting along with the rest of the members.
The meeting reviewed the latest developments of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 projects and what has been completed during the last period.
A presentation was made on the overall achievements and operational plans for the country's major projects related to the tournament, such as Hamad International Airport and Qatar Rail.
