(MENAFN) Over two Iranian border guards have died in a battle along the country"s northwestern borders with Iraq.
IRNA news agency declared that Lieutenant Yousef Piraneh and warrant officer Mahboub Ghorbani have been shot dead in a fight with armed terrorists.
The incident occurred at 23:00 local time in Sardash Border Regiment, West Azerbaijan province.
