OIC condemns Israel's plan to build 2,070 new settlements
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) JEDDAH, June 2 (KUNA) -- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned on Saturday Israeli authorities' approval to build 2,070 new settlement units in Palestinian lands.
OIC considered the continuity of this settlement policy a violation of international law and Geneva agreements.
Secretary-General of the OIC Yousef Al-Othaimeen affirmed that this settlement policy is a defiance of the international community and relevant international resolutions.
Al-Othaimeen urged all influential nations to take responsibility in holding Israel accountable for its continued violation of the Palestinian people rights. (end) nh.bb
