EU to maintain Lebanon support: ambassador Lassen
(MENAFN) The EU is committed to keep on supporting Lebanon's stability and prosperity, as emphasized the EU's Ambassador to Lebanon Christina Lassen.
The statement has been made by the Lebanese envoy during a meeting with Lebanese President Michel Aoun at the Baabda presidential palace, as reported the National News Agency (NNA).
Ambassador Lassen said during the meeting that the EU congratulates Lebanon for the fruitful holding of the parliamentary elections.
Lassen added "the European Union is looking forward to working with the new parliament on many challenges facing the country."
