Russia, Turkey reaffirms commitment to Syria
(MENAFN) Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a phone call reaffirmed their commitments to territorial integrity of Syria.
According to Russian media "Russia Today', both sides "reaffirmed commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria."
They continued their "dialogue on the situation in Syria" and stressed the significance of finding a political solution based on achievements made within the Astana process, Russia Today' reported.
The phone call had been initiated by Ankara.
