Yemeni army regains strategic positions in Hodeidah

Aden, 11 Ramadan,1439 AH, 27 May,2018 , SPA -- The Yemeni army forces have made new ground progress in Al-Sahel front, where they are fighting the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.
Military sources told the official Yemeni news agency that the army and resistance forces, backed by the coalition forces supporting the legitimacy in Yemen have managed to control the areas of al-Majlis, al-Shaafa'i, al-Jah, al-Mashra'i and al-Husayniyah.
The sources added that the army forces destroyed the defenses of the Houthi militia and continued advancing towards the city of Hodeidah, the center of the province.
