Iraq: multiple bombings in Baghdad
(MENAFN) On Saturday, a military base for the Iraqi army near Razwaniya district of western Baghdad came under rocket attack, Iraqi media sources reported.
At least three rockets were launched into the base from an unidentified location, with casualties or damages remaining unknown.
No groups or organizations have claimed responsibility for the incident but the Islamic State(IS) is suspected to be behind the attack.
Even though the Islamic State (IS) has been declared defeated several months ago, the extremist group continues targeting civilians and security personnel across Iraq.
