Moroccan, Swedish energy firms to cooperate for low cost solar energy


(MENAFN) The Moroccan Agency for Sustainable energy (Masen) and Sweden's Cleanergy are set to form cooperation to work together for low cost solar energy storage.

The Swedish solar technology firm explained that fossil-free power generation mainly depends on clean electricity and the storage of renewable energy for on-demand distribution of competitive price.

In their cooperation agreement, Cleanergy and Masen are taking a major step to commercialization through strong solar power (CSP) and thermal energy storage (TES) solutions.

Masen, under the terms of the deal, is to be handed a place in Cleanergy's board of directors and is to also financer a substantial part of the company's Thermal Energy Storage R&D industrialization and business development.
