Cairo, Shaaban 30, 1439, May 16, 2018, SPA -- Saudi Ambassador to Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's permanent representative at the Arab League Council Osama bin Ahmed Nugali stressed that the Arab peace initiative with Israel is still in place, pointing out that the summits and all Arab meetings confirm this in its resolutions.
In a press conference following the Extraordinary Session of the Arab League Council at the level of Permanent Representatives, headed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today, Ambassador Nugali expressed his hope that the Ministerial Meeting of Foreign Ministers which will be held in Cairo tomorrow would issue satisfactory resolutions in support of the Palestinian people's struggle and Al-Quds issue.
In reply to a question on the nature of tomorrow's resolution, Ambassador Nugali said the draft resolution has gained consensus of conferees at today's meeting, thus expected to maintain the consensus of the Arab nation on this central issue of Palestine and Al-Quds.
