Yemen: gunmen shoot popular academician dead
(MENAFN) A police official declared that a popular academician in Yemen has been killed in her house in the southern port city of Aden before dawn.
The local police source added that the dean of the Health Sciences College at Aden University, Najat Ali Muqbil, has been shot dead by a group of armed men in army uniforms, who crashed into her house in Enmaa neighborhood and fired using automatic rifiles.
Another two members of her family were also killed in the attack, according to the official, whose identity remains unidentified.
Police have launched building by building search operation after the attackers in the neighborhood shortly after the incident.
