Kuwait renews gas oil supply contract with Lebanon


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, May 15 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and Lebanon's Energy Ministry renewed Tuesday a contract to supply Lebanon Electricity company with Gas oil.
The contract has been renewed for a year and the gas oil would be in accordance with international markets prices, Sheikh Khaled Ahmad Al-Sabah, KPC Deputy Managing Director for Crude Oil and Petroleum Product Marketing.
He told KUNA he met with Energy Minister Cesar Abi Khalil and discussed how important the strategic relations between the two countries, specially that Kuwait was the main supplier of gas oil.
KPC began gas oil supplies to Lebanon in 2005. (end) ff.bs
