UAE- Burjeel Royal Hospital opens doors in Al Ain


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Burjeel Royal Hospital has opened in Al Ain, inaugurated by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler's Representative in Al Ain Region. Sheikh Hazza bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, under-secretary of the Court of the Abu Dhabi Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region; Dr Shamsheer Vayalil, chairman and managing director of VPS Healthcare; and a number of officials witnessed the event.

Sheikh Tahnoun praised the support of the leadership of the UAE in promoting world-class healthcare, that has been one the core pillars of development in the country.

He asserted that both government and private healthcare facilities are aligned with the best international standards to the its citizens and residents.

Dr Vayalil emplasised that the hospital will provide integrated family healthcare, complying with the requirements of the Garden City. "We have aligned our services with the directives and vision of the wise leadership of the country. We have worked in line with the government's vision of providing access to the best healthcare facilities to its citizens," added Dr Valayalil.

The 100-bed facility has 17 specialised physicians, 65 nurses and over 36 support staff. Burjeel Royal Hospital has the distinction of offering a women's-only section comprising consultation rooms, labour and delivery suite, caesarian operating room suite, neo-natal intensive care unit, among others, to ensure complete privacy for women patients.
