Oman targets Iran for free trade agreement


(MENAFN) Oman Chamber of Commerce's Chairman Qais Mohammed Al Yusuf was confirmed to have proposed a free trade deal to be secured with Iran.

IRNA reported the request for the agreement to have been made during a meeting that was held with Iranian Ambassador to Muscat Mohammad Reza Nouri Shahroudi.

Chairman Mohammed Al Yusuf also declared Oman to be fully prepared for trade ties with Iran to be developed.

He also highlighted Omani companies' joint investment with Iranian companies, as he referred to the importance of boosting trade relations among both countries.
