Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Lt Gen Mahmoud Al-Dousary meets with mission head of the International Organisation for Migration to Kuwait Eman Oraikat

KUWAIT CITY, May 2, (KUNA): Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Lt-Gen Mahmoud Al-Dousary held talks with mission head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to Kuwait Eman Oraikat on Tuesday.

The talks dealt with ways to strengthen cooperation between both sides and issues of common interest, according to a statement by the Ministry's Public Relations and Security Media Dept.

The two sides share a great interest in addressing the humanitarian aspects of migration-related issues, the statement said. During the meeting, the IOM representative spoke highly of the humanitarian role of Kuwait and thanked the Ministry of Interior for backing the IOM efforts worldwide.

The meeting gathered the Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs Maj- Gen Khaled Al-Doyayn and Acting Director General of the Public Relations and Security Media Dept. Brig. Tawheed Al-Kandari.
