Bahrain: court sentences man for attempting to murder wife
(MENAFN) The First High Criminal Court of Appeal has upheld the seven year sentence in prison given to a Bahraini man, who tried to kill his wife with an axe.
The man has requested a lower sentence after the court's rule.
However, the court declined his appeal and upheld the former rule.
The man was convicted the man for roughing up his Arab wife deploying an axe as well as tossing her out the balcony from the third floor.
