Oman- CMA warns against dealing with unlicensed companies
(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Capital Market Authority (CMA) has cautioned about firms claiming to be practising investment business in foreign exchange, securities and other investments.
'The CMA has received information from the International Organizations of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) that it received alerts and warnings from its members about firms which are not authorised to provide investment services', the CMA said in a statement posted on its website on Monday.
'For sound transactions in Oman and to provide a safe investment environment, we issued this alert', the CMA said.
