Saudi Arabia: Houthis rebels seize 19 oil vessels

(MENAFN) Saudi ambassador to Yemen Mohammed al-Jaber claimed 19 oil vessels to have been seized by Yemen's Houthi militants, along with a great number of oil barrels.

The rebels have foiled the entry of the vessels to al-Hodeidah port, the ambassador further stated.

Saudi medial reported the ambassador to have declared "Iranian-backed Houthi militias are holding more than 19 oil vessels in the militia-controlled area of al-Mustaqaf, preventing them from entering the port."

He also claimed that 200,000 barrels of oil have been held by Houthi rebels besides the oil vessels.
